Gangtok -Tshangu Lake & Baba Mandir Excursionelhi
After breakfast, in the morning, start for excursion to Tshangu Lake (12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43Kms in 3Hrs one way from Gangtok) & Baba Mandir (13100Ft / 3994 Mts / 16Kms in 1Hrs one way from Tshangu Lake. Gangtok - Lachung
Pick from Gangtok Hotel and transfer to Lachung (8000 Ft / 2439 Mts, 124 Kms / 05 ½ to 06 ½ Hrs). On the way visit Tashi view point, Seven sister’s water fall ((Subjected the vehicle take the normal route. This sightseeing points are included on complimentary basis & in case of diversions these points will be missed. There will be no refund in such case)). Overnight at Hotel.
Lachung - Yumthang Excursion
Early morning proceed on a half day excursion to Yumthang Valley (11800 Ft / 3598 Mts / 25 Kms / 1 ½ hours one way). Visit to Yumthang Valley is a day excursion from Lachung, which is an attraction for tourist visiting this region. The colorful Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary bloom between April to June. The soaring snow-capped peaks and herds of wandering yaks make this a Himalayan paradise The valley is also known for its Hot spring. Although the water is quite dirty, many locals from the area visit to get themselves soaked & cured as believed. Overnight at Hotel.
Lachung - Gangtok
After breakfast transfer to Gangtok (5412 Ft / 1650 Mts / 124 Kms / 05 ½ to 06 ½ Hrs). Overnight at Hotel.
Gangtok - Darjeeling
Morning Go for a half day (04 hrs) sightseeing covering Jhakri Water Falls along with Do-rul Chhorten, Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Closed on Sunday) and Flower Show. Afternoon transfer to Darjeeling (6710 Ft / 2046 Mts, 115 Kms / 04 to 05 Hrs). Overnight at Hotel.
Darjeeling
Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (8482 Ft / 2586 Mts at around 4 AM) to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. Darjeeling - Njp Railway Station / Ixb Airport - Guwahati
Transfer to NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport, (413 Ft / 126 Mts, 100 Kms / 03 to 04 Hrs) for onwards connection / journey and travel to Guwahati.
Guwahati - Pobitora
Arrive at Guwahati airport you will be received and greet by our company representative then you will transfer to hotel. After refreshment drive Pobitora(60Km/1.5hrs). Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary is mainly famous for its great Indian one horned Rhinoceros. There you can see besides Rhinoceros the other animals are Asiatic Buffalo, Leopard, Wild bear, civet cat etc. It is also home to more than 2000 migratory birds and various reptiles. And there you can enjoy Elephant safari and Jeep safari also. Overnight stay at hotel.
Guwahati – Shillong
After breakfast Proceed to Shillong, also called 'Scotland of the East" (100 kms 3 hrs). Reach the majestic Umiam Lake (Barapani). You may do the water sports here (Optional). Visit Don Bosco Monument, Ward’s Lake where you can enjoy boating, Botanical Garden and Lady Hydri Park. Then check in at your hotel. Overnight stay in Shillong.
Shillong –Cherrapunjee
Today drive to Cherrapunji (65km) – the wettest place on the earth. En-route visit Elephant Falls & Shillong Peak. At Cherrapunji visit Mawsmai Cave, Mawsami Falls, and Seven Sister Falls & Nohkalikai Falls. Evening check in into hotel and overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.
Cherrapunjee - Mawlynnong Village - Shillong
After breakfast visit Mawlynnong Viilage the cleanest village in Asia (80 Km 2 Hrs). Visit the living Double Dekker Root Bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. Evening you will back to Shillon. Overnight in Shillong.
Shillong - Bomdila
Today morning after breakfast proceed to Bomdila (288km/06-07hrs). After reached Bomdila check-in into hotel. Overnight stay at Bomdila.
Bomdila - Tawang
This morning proceed to Tawang (180km /06hrs) – the land of Monpa Tribes & major centre of the Mahayana Buddhists. On the way to Tawang lies the world’s second highest pass – THE SELA PASS (13700ft) which run through a small ridge & along a lake called PARADISE LAKE. And visit JASWANTGARH, a memorial to the brave soldier who single tried to hold of approaching Chinese from the pass during the 1962 Indo-Chinese war. On arrival check in hotel. O / N at Tawang.
Tawang Sightseeing
In the morning go for sightseeing in and around Tawang. Visit the PENGA TEN TSO Lake (P.T.S.O.), Sangster Lake, War Memorial and Tawang Monastery. The Monastery is 400 year old and adorned with the 18 ft. High statue of Lord Buddha. ‘The Land of Dawn-lit Mountain’ at 3500m gives you unparallel purity of nature. O/N at Tawang.
Tawang - Bomdila
